About
Jay has covered events for many years and especially loves candid portraits. He got his start through summer school, learning studio portraiture in sixth grade when cameras still had film. In high school, he rented a darkroom to print black-and-white photos during the summer months. Now he challenges himself to be well-rounded with his subject matter: from portraits, sports, dance, pets, architecture and astrophotography.
After decades of focusing on engineering design, he has decided to make a leap full-time into the photography space.
